The presenter from Guipuzcoa, Lourdes Maldonado, acted as hostess of the LI National Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo de Bembibre.

Born in Irun on May 3, 1973, Lourdes Maldonado, with a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra, has been closely linked to radio and television throughout her professional career, touring the main national channels and stations. She began in Gipuzkoa Telebista Txingudi, local television of Irun, until 2000, when she made the leap to Antena 3 in the territorial news of the Basque Country. She had previously worked for Onda Cero and Agence France Presse.

In 2003 she was substitute presenter of Espejo Público and Antena 3 Noticias Fin de Semana until September 6 of that same year she took over the news for almost nine years, to make the step in September 2012 to the daily edition.

Lourdes Maldonado worked for Telemadrid until her arrival at the public broadcaster RTVE in 2022, presenting the programs Hablando Claro, and Las Tardes de RNE from September 2023.
