The Sectorial Council of Commerce approves the rules for the XV Jornadas de Pinchos del Botillo (Botillo Tapas Festival)

The Sectorial Council of Commerce has approved the rules of the XV Jornadas de Pinchos del Botillo, which will be held during the weekends before and coinciding with the International Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo, on January 30 and 31, and February 1; and on February 6, 7 and 8.

The document, which has been agreed with the hospitality sector, presents new features compared to the previous edition, the main one being the recovery of the morning schedule.

While last year the Jornadas de Pinchos del Botillo were held exclusively in the afternoons, in this fifteenth edition the public can take the tour both in the morning and in the afternoon: from 13:00 to 15:00 hours and from 20:00 to 23:00 hours. However, the participating establishments will be able to offer the pincho outside these hours if they wish.

Another novelty of this edition is the fixed price of 1.5 euros per skewer, which is in line with last year’s average price.

As for the attendees, the public will have at their disposal ballots that will be stamped in each of these establishments and that can be introduced in the ballot box with identification data. Valid ballots (those that prove that all the pinchos have been tasted) will be entered into a draw for various gifts.

The jury, which will be appointed by the hospitality sector, will be related to and specialized in gastronomy, as expressly stated in the rules.

The registration of the establishments will begin on January 9, 2026 and will continue until January 13, 2026. They can do it on the third floor of the Town Hall of Bembibre, from 9 to 14 hours (responsible person: Araceli).
