The 26th Villa de Bembibre Agri-Food Fair returns as part of the International Botillo Festival
The Bembibre Arena will once again become a culinary hub with the 26th Villa de Bembibre Agri-Food Fair, which will take place from Friday, February 6, to Sunday, February 8, 2026. A total of 34 exhibitors from different parts of Spain—and one from France—will present to the public a wide selection of agri-food products, artisanal goods, and culinary specialties.
From cured meats to pickles, including sweets and baked goods, honey, olive oil, dairy products, nuts, and even a booth run by the Bierzo Agri-Food Association—not to mention wines with a Designation of Origin. Here are some of the products visitors will be able to find at the Fair, which will officially open its doors on Friday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m.
The opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting will feature Héctor Aláiz, the Government’s subdelegate in León, marking the start of a weekend dedicated to promoting food quality as part of the International Festival Celebrating Botillo.
The 26th Agri-Food Fair will remain open through Sunday, February 8, with the following hours:
- Mornings: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Afternoons: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- On Friday, only in the afternoon
The participating exhibitors represent the autonomous communities of Castile and León, Andalusia, the Community of Madrid, Cantabria, Castile-La Mancha, Extremadura, and Galicia.
In addition, the community restaurant will offer a botillo menu to those who wish to sample this dish on the premises. The service will be available:
- Friday: dinners
- Saturday: Lunch and dinner
- Sunday: meals
The price of the set menu will be 14 euros.

Tastings and Children’s Workshops
The Fair features activities scheduled throughout its three-day run. On Saturday, February 7, there will be a ham-cutting demonstration for attendees from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following day, Sunday, anyone who wishes to do so can sample a “bollo preñado” provided by the Festival Committee. It will be at 6 p.m.
In addition, the Fair will offer children’s workshops, including a botillo-themed badge-making workshop on Friday at 6:00 p.m.; as well as cookie workshops (Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.), pizza workshops (Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.), and hamburger workshops (Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.).
During opening hours, attendees will also be able to enjoy a free “Arcade” area, adding a touch of retro fun to the event.
