The poster “De Bembibre al mundo”, by Alejandro Frades, will be the image of the LIII Festival Internacional de Exaltación del Botillo

The Festival de Exaltación del Botillo de Bembibre, the first to be held under the new declaration of Fiesta of International Tourist Interest, already has an official image. The winning poster of the contest is “From Bembibre to the world”, a work of the designer Alejandro Frades, native of Las Ventas de Albares and resident in León.

The jury valued the power of its message for the direct visual concept showing a world map that symbolizes the international character of the Botillo Festival; the reading that supposes the leap “from Bembibre to the world”.

In the official image, the Botillo is transformed into a globe with a recognizable texture, on which the continents are drawn with leaves that evoke the cabbage, an irreplaceable accompaniment to the Botillo.

The poster, with a white background and elegant typography underlining the name of the event, highlights the word “BOTILLO” as the central axis of the composition.

This image will be used to announce the LIII Festival Internacional de Exaltación del Botillo, to be held in the Manuel Marqués Patarita pavilion in Bembibre on February 7, 2026.

The Councilor for Culture, Commerce, Tourism and Festivities, Belén Martín, said that “this work summarizes what the Festival represents today: tradition, identity and, at the same time, a clear vocation of openness to the world”. As the title of the work says, “From Bembibre to the world”.

The author of the winning poster will receive the prize established in the rules of 500 euros.
