Ruth Lorenzo will headline the performance at the 53rd International Festival Celebrating Botillo in Bembibre

Another key element of the Botillo Festival is the musical performance that will close the main event. And this 53rd International Botillo Festival in Bembibre has chosen Ruth Lorenzo as its guest artist.

Ruth Lorenzo arrives in Bembibre as one of the most distinctive and versatile voices on the Spanish pop scene: a performer with powerful vocals and a strong stage presence, capable of moving from pop-rock to ballads with her own unique style, and with a career that spans music, television, and live performances.

Born in Las Torres de Cotillas (Murcia), Ruth Lorenzo developed a connection with music and the stage at a very early age, pursuing part of her artistic training outside of Spain before establishing a career marked by perseverance and creative identity.

Her international breakthrough came in 2008, when she gained widespread recognition on the British talent show *The X Factor*, where she stood out for her vocal talent and artistic personality. Back in Spain, she became a widely recognized figure after representing the country at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with “Dancing in the Rain, ” finishing in the Top 10 in the final and making the song one of the most popular of that year.

On the recording front, her debut album “Planeta Azul” solidified her return to the Spanish music scene, followed by new projects and releases that have further strengthened her role as a songwriter and performer. In addition, her television appearances have deepened her connection with the public: from her victory on “Tu cara me suena” to her role as host on major recent music shows, all while keeping live performances as a central pillar of her career.
