Poster and Literary Contests Announced for the 53rd International Botillo Festival
The Department of Culture, Festivals, Tourism and Commerce of the Bembibre City Council has announced the poster and literary contests for the 53rd International Botillo Festival, to be held on February 7, 2026, with a single prize in each category of €500 and €1,000, respectively.
The poster contest aims to encourage artistic creation to show the official image of this year’s edition of the Festival. Participants may send as many works as they deem appropriate in accordance with the criteria established in the rules
The prize for the poster contest will be €500.
Meanwhile, the long-running literary contest, which has been part of the Festival’s history since its earliest editions, will award the winner €1,000 (rules: https://www.festivaldelbotillo.com/bases-concurso-literario/). Each year this competition attracts a significant number of participants from many parts of Spain.
The submission period will remain open until December 12 for both the poster contest and the literary contest.

The Department of Culture, Festivals, Commerce and Tourism and the Municipal Festival Board encourage artists, creators, and writers—regardless of their place of origin—to take part in these contests and contribute to the cultural enrichment of the Botillo Festival.
