Registration is open to participate in the Bembibre Farm and Food Fair

The Patronato Municipal de Fiestas has opened the registration period for professionals to participate in the Feria Agroalimentaria Villa de Bembibre, which will take place in the Bembibre Arena pavilion on February 21, 22 and 23, coinciding with the National Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo.

Those interested should register at the Town Hall of Bembibre, from 9 am to 2 pm, or by contacting 987510001 (ask for Angela), until Friday, January 17. They must pay the participation fee that includes the labeled stand based on the square meters they want.

Regular exhibitors from Castilla y León and other communities, such as Asturias, Galicia, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia, are expected to attend.

As for the number of visitors, the Fair attracts every year several thousand people, mainly from Bembibre and Bierzo, and increasingly from other parts of the province of León. In addition, in recent editions the Festival has received organized visits that arrive by bus to learn about the products of the participating exhibitors and take advantage of the day in Bembibre.

For its part, the City Council also offers a set of activities to encourage the population to visit the Festival, designed for a very wide audience, including children’s workshops for the little ones.

One of the attractions of the Farm and Food Festival is the restaurant that will serve botillo menus during the three days to exalt the tasting of sausages at popular prices.
